Our Parishes

We are four small rural parishes within an hour’s drive of Edinburgh. The church is positively engaged with the local primary school in Broughton.
The challenge is the mix of the traditional and the newly arrived. The well-maintained manse, built in 1969, is close to the church in Broughton.
We have been in a settled linkage for over 40 years and work together as much as possible. Our finances are sound and all of the church buildings are in excellent repair.
Our Worship Workshop group ensure that worship occurs every week in each church. The congregations come together to raise funds for Christian Aid Week and other charities.
Sitting down and eating together reaches out to the whole community. The church touches every household three times a year with its parish magazine Kirk Matters.
